 The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 5G series is all set to launch in India next week as the event is scheduled for January 4, 2024. The device has already been launched in China and so, we already know what could be the specifications of the next-generation Redmi Note series phone. The company has also posted some teasers of the Pro models, confirming that the specifications of the Indian models will be the same as the Chinese models. Here are the details. Xiaomi has also teased the standard model, but there is no information on the features yet. So, we will be taking a a quick look at the specifications of all the upcoming Redmi Note series phones that have been announced outside India.

-In China, all three smartphones boast a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the Pro variants exclusively support a 1.5K resolution. Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Pro+ model will feature an IP68 water-resistant rating, which means that the device won't get damaged during rainy season.

-The Redmi Note 13 is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, while the Pro model is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 mobile platform. The high-end Pro+ model houses a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC.


The vanilla model features a dual rear camera setup, while the Pro model comes with a triple rear camera setup. The Redmi Note 13 boasts of a 100-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. On the other hand, the Pro and Pro+ variants include a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary rear sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro unit, and a 16-megapixel front sensor.

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 13 series consists of three members - the Redmi Note 13Note 13 Pro and the Note 13 Pro+ which features a 200MP main cam. The Pro+ uses Samsung’s 1/1.4” ISOCELL HP3 sensor with 0.56µm pixels and up to 4K video recording at 30fps. This is the same sensor used in the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ from last year.

The vanilla variant and the high-end Pro+ variant are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit, while the Pro model comes with a slightly larger 5,100mAh battery. Fast charging capabilities differ, with the Redmi Note 13 supporting 33W, the Note 13 Pro supporting 67W, and the Note 13 Pro+ boasting 120W fast charging.

All three models in China are running on the MIUI 14 operating system based on Android 13, instead of the latest Android 14 OS.
